OST Roundup: B1A4 and Park Shin Hye Lead The Week In Soundtrack Releases

B1A4 provide upbeat vocals for the Reply 1994 soundtrack.

B1A4 released a music video for their song With You for Part 3 of the original soundtrack for tvN's hit Reply 1994. The single is significant in that it is a remake of the 1994 song by Son Ji Chang and Kim Min Jong, which was the theme for the drama Feeling. With You is an uptempo single which highlights the vocal talents of B1A4.

Park Shin Hye, who has provided vocals for the soundtracks for You're Beautiful, Heartstrings, and Flower Boy Next Door sings the poignant Story which illustrates the conflict of her character Cha Eun Sung and her ill fated relationship with Lee Min Ho's Kim Tan. Story serves in stark contrast with singles from earlier editions of the Heirs soundtrack such as Esna's Bite My Lower Lip, which were filled with hope and optimism. Story can be found on Part 5 of the Heirs soundtrack.

As the plot of the hit melodrama Secret reaches a conclusion, the soundtrack which yielded the pessimistic song Incurable Disease, turns to lighter fare with Secret Love. As Minhook reaches a point of confession with the woman who was once his enemy, Yoojung, the soundtrack becomes more upbeat. Secret Love features the sweet vocals of Rainbow member Jisook and hip hop artist Outsider. Outsider proves that he is one of the most underrated artists in K-Hip Hop with a solid flow that contrasts to the innocence of Jisook's voice.

Vocalist Melody Day, who was most recently featured on the soundtrack for the hit drama Master's Sun with the single All About lends her talent to the song Only Me for Part 3 of the Marry Him If You Dare soundtrack. Whereas All About showcased Melody Day's vocal talents with an infectious pop beat, Only Me is a strong ballad.
